Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival

March 6, 2019 – June 3, 2019

2019 marks the 26th year of Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival, right here in our backyard at Walt Disney World. Running all spring, this family-friendly event promises fun for everyone by way of food from outdoor kitchens, Disney-themed topiaries, awe-inspiring wildlife habitats and gardens, and the Garden Rocks™ concert series. This is a can’t-miss event in Orlando and one that is worth traveling to Orlando specifically to see!

Outdoor Kitchens

Epcot’s World Showcase has become renowned for its ability to show off flavors from all around the globe—most notably in its annual Food & Wine Festival, and the Flower & Garden Festival is certainly no slouch in comparison. Outdoor kitchens will be set up around the World Showcase area for guests to try myriad different dishes, desserts, and drinks as they enjoy all that the springtime festival has to offer. Last year’s addition, The Honey Bee-stro, featured all-natural honey-infused food and drinks.

Topiaries and Garden Displays

Each year, the Flower & Garden Festival features a whole host of Disney character topiaries, from everyone’s favorite Disney princesses to the animated classics like Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. Modern characters are well-represented too, with favorites like Buzz Lightyear and Lightning McQueen making appearances last year. In addition to the topiaries, there are several themed garden areas to check out, such as the Tropical Rainforest Garden, the English Tea Garden, and even the Shakespeare Garden.

Garden Rocks™ Concert Series

Disney World has released a partial line-up for the Garden Rocks™ concert series, featuring Simple Plan, Glass Tiger, Sister Sledge, and many more amazing artists. With shows every night of the week during the festival and open dates still on the calendar, there are bound to be more acts announced in the future. Notable performers from last year included Foghat, Smash Mouth, Rick Springfield, the Village People, and more. Stay tuned to this blog post or check out www.epcotinspring.com for more details and updates on the performance schedule.
